Dr. rer. pol. Christoph Tempich

Christoph Tempich is a management consultant at Detecon International in the Competence Practice Information Technology. He advises companies in the telecommunication industry in information architecture, IT infrastructure for next generation networks and semantic technologies. He combines more than 10 years research experience in the Semantic Web with management consulting experience at globally acting telecommunications operators. He has co-organized a number of workshops related to ontology engineering and business models for the semantic web such as the WS on “Business added-value of semantic technologies“ at the European Semantic Technology Conference 2007 and has over 30 publications at international conferences and journals in the same areas. He won prizes for the most innovative e-Business and software application in 2002 and 2004 using Semantic Web technologies. Before he received his PhD in applied informatics from the University of Karlsruhe, Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB) in 2006 he worked with Bearingpoint as a management consultant.
