Dr. Nicolas Repp

Dr. Nicolas Repp is an independent IT consultant and analyst specialized in IT and enterprise architecture management. He is also an industrial liaison officer at Technische Universität Darmstadt.

Prior to that, Nicolas worked for an international management consulting firm in the the financial services industry as a senior business consultant. Nicolas was also head of the IT architectures research group at the Multimedia Communications Lab at Technische Universität Darmstadt as well as head of the SOA Competence Center at the Hessische Telemedia Technologie Kompetenz-Center in Darmstadt. Before joining Technische Universität Darmstadt as a researcher, Nicolas worked for one of the "Big Four" international accountancy and professional services firms as an IS auditor.

Furthermore, Nicolas was a lecturer for Information Systems / Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences Saarbrücken as well as at the Hochschule Liechtenstein in Vaduz.

His research focuses on the management of large scale IT and enterprise architectures, with a focus on service-oriented & cloud computing architectures. Additionally, business process management as well as IT governance in large heterogeneous systems are areas of interest.

Nicolas received a diploma in Business Informatics (Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Inform.) as well as a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (Dr.-Ing.) from Technische Universität Darmstadt.

Nicolas is a member of the German Informatics Society (GI).
