Beschreibung
Stefan Conrad obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the TU Braunschweig in 1994. He finished his “Habilitation” on “Federated Database Systems” at the University of Magdeburg in 1997. In 1998/1999 he spent a year as full professor (temporary, as replacement) at the University of Linz, Austria. From 2000 to 2002, he was associate professor for practical computer sciene at the University of Munich. As full professor, he is leading the databases and information systems group at the University of Düsseldorf since 2002.
Stefan Conrad is author/coauthor of 2 textbooks (on federated database systems and Enterprise Application Integration), editor/coeditor of several scientific conference and workshop proceedings and author/coauthor of more than 50 peer-reviewed conference and journal papers. Beside numerous services for the scientific community, he regularly holds seminars on Enterprise Application Integration (together with two colleagues).
