Our growing consulting team has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Consultant. Qualified candidates are part of the consulting management team in a key role that links Planview's core value streams to ensure value is delivered to our customers. The role has direct responsibility for defining client delivery and organizational change strategies, managing engagement teams of multiple consultants, working with sales to define solutions for our prospects ensuring value delivery to our customers, managing existing customer accounts to ensure continual business value from Planview's solutions. Qualified candidates possess a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, high-volume environment that balances varied needs to ultimately drive the success of our customers and our business.
Responsibilities
- Assist Planview clients identify their business objectives for the solution implementation over a multi-release horizon that enables effective adoption and measurements of success
- Identify and document the client's „as-is” environment and processes that link to business objectives and requirements
- Assist in the design, development and documentation of required „to–be” business processes and environment
- Provide coaching to client teams that enable knowledge transfer, rational organization change management approaches to develop the client's effective usage solutions
- Manage engagement resources, the engagement P&L and the client relationship to ensure effective delivery of services to meet immediate and long-term business objectives
- Develop intimate, trusted advisor relationships with key strategic clients to develop opportunities within a defined set of financial performance measures
- Manage the on-going pipeline of work with assigned key strategic clients
- Validate solution success with clients against agreed business objectives to provide on-going guidance relative to changes in the business environment

- Possess skills in conceptualizing creative solutions and communicating them to others including senior management
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to closure
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effectively manage internal and external deliverables from inception to successful acceptance
- Must have demonstrated understanding of the implementation approach elements including:
- Requirements gathering and analysis
- Workshop facilitation
- Process design and documentation
- Provide quality professional services deliverables, executive-level presentations and status reporting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated client relationship and interpersonal skills
- Must be adept at managing expectations in a customer environment to determine the integration of processes and tools, culture and change management constraints to address complex needs in a way that can be translated in to measureable solution results with the client
- Must be able to develop senior level relationships with clients and proactively communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization
- Ability to translate benefits into demonstrable metrics.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of Planview Consulting solutions
- Willingness to travel approximately 60%.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required, Graduate Degree desired
- A minimum of four years of related experience with an ability to demonstrate previous results
