Aurora Industrial Automation fulfills thirst for increased efficiency, scalability and reduction in overall environmental impact for a craft brewer.
Your plant floor generates valuable performance data virtually every second in a production cycle. Readily accessing and sharing this information produces tangible value for many companies who have leveraged the benefits of Manufacturing Intelligence.
The art of craft brewing requires skilled brew masters keeping a watchful eye on the multi stages of the batch process, most craft brew houses run processes manually to yield their signature label taste and to keep the reigns on operations cost. So when a northwest craft brewery pushed against their capacity threshold daily they called in Aurora Industrial Automation, a referenced Information Solutions Partner of Rockwell Automation to assist.
The project goal was to increase capacity and throughput. The company also wanted to minimize operator dependency through automation, create a scalable solution and decrease the overall environmental impact of each brew. To achieve these goals, Aurora implemented a project which switched the manual lauter tun to a fully automated, networked mash filtration system integrated with software for manufacturing intelligence.
Register today to hear how brewing capacity increased by 25 percent, the time of each brew cycle was cut by almost half, and higher efficiency and the ability to optimize each batch allowed the company to cut raw material costs by five percent annually, plus they estimate they will decrease water use by one million gallons annually.
Attendees will receive exclusive detail on this application in an application case study.
